Lol, that's some way of looking at it.
Right, so the Democrats are not going to be responsible for the implosion? It's their bill. Literally no Republican had voted for it.

@bluethrunthru it's not a win for him ATM- but it would strengthen his position once he eventually gets a replacement plan to sign probably within the next year. The thing is, had this bill passed, the CBO report claimed premiums would still increase for 1-2 years. Trump would have owned that, but now he's not responsible for this healthcare bankrupting Americans.

Obamacare has it's faults but you know how politicians are, if things go south Dems will blame Obama and say it's not their fault. I will say though that even though Republicans didn't vote for it the Dems worked with republicans on it.

In any case republicans have 44 seat margin in the house and 4 in the senate - they could pass a bill. This bill wasn't good enough for their own party. You can't blame the Dems for that.

Trump campaigned for this new bill. You can't then say he won when it doesn't pass.

Its like Gaurdiola saying we would have beaten Liverpool if only they had been sporting enough to stick one in their own net FFS - Trump said he would repeal and REPLACE Obamacare - he presents his replacement bill and even with a majority he can't get it through - you can try and polish the turd son all you are getting is shitty fingers

Not saying he won, but he didn't lose either.

You're assuming this is last we heard of healthcare. You think Congress won't be more willing to let something pass next year, before the Midterm elections? Trump will pass Obamacare repeal and replace, just instead of this year it'll be next year thanks to complete lack of Democrat support.

"concentrating on the league" eh?- Why would the Democrats support a Republican president?

No seriously, it even took Obama a year to pass Obamacare. Trump thought he could fast track it. It didn't work, now he'll have to listen to the conservatives in the near future once the healthcare debate begins again. All parties will be desperate to pass something as Midterm elections creep up, and eventually a compromise would be struck. No side wants to give in this early, unfortunately. Until then, we get to see Obamacare destroy itself.
