This is what I don't get. Favoring whites over other races isn't mild racism, it's the exact definition of white supremacy. He feels that being white makes you supreme.

You need a plumber to do some work for you. Make sure it's a white person because other races are inferior and won't do as good of a job.
You need a doctor. Make sure it's a white person because other races are inferior and won't do as good of a job.
You're in charge of admitting people to your country. No darkies please, they're not as good as white people.

These are not examples of "mild racism" they're examples of oppressing people because of their skin color/religion. Somebody who does this will be much more likely to incarcerate people of color and feel justified in doing so because non-whites can't be trusted and are probably criminals.

Not sure there are shades of racism. You're either racist of you're not.

People are naturally favourable to similar people to themselves, you should try and behave differently because we’re smart enough to know it’s ridiculous but the tribal instinct still exists. It’s why large parts of the world are racist.

Trump isn’t advocating that black people shouldn’t be doctors or plumbers is he?

He is a bit racist, specifically to Mexicans and you could argue people from the Middle East and Africa as well in the past but he’s not advocation white domination in America or around the world of all other races, there’s no evidence he wants white people to have more rights than other minorities.

You’re just rambling on now and I cannot be arsed going around the houses again with you.

So if there’s a bloke that occasionally describes people of another race as a derogatory term but doesn’t do anything else, he’d be on the same level as the SS?

Of course there’s levels of prejudice. Being a member of the EDL isn’t the same as being a member of the Gestapo.
