Moving back on to the topic, if you genuinely believe, and I don’t think you do, that Trump wasn’t just ad-libbing in tweet form with his usual hyperbole and you think I’m incorrect when I stated “Trump calling for 6G coverage in the US despite it not being invented yet” was inaccurate then fair enough. But I think I’ve shown above that my post was both accurate and relatively inocuous.

Interesting, but his 6G comment wasn't him predicting the future; he was just being plain old Dumb Donald. Pound to a pinch of sh*t he doesn't even understand simple point-to-point 2-way VHF, let alone digital multiplexing.

6G, if indeed the industry stick with this naming convention is still just a concept; in reality, a list of aspirations. We are years away from being able to produce a low noise, stable frequency generator in the mm range at a consumer price point. Trump will be long dead.

You're presuming I read your replies which is much larger on the "giving-o-shit-meter" than it registers for me.

Trump was giving an innocuous soundbite - "maybe we do THIS and possibly in the future THIS too". Literally something people do all the time.

But he’s definitely a gobshite. leaders in government are quite often gobshites. We have a long illustrious history of them in Ireland. Look at Britain now. They seem to be doing their best not to be outdone by the USA. Doing a pretty good job too.
But as America always has to do. They have bigger and better. They have the biggest and best gobshite of them all.
