He was asked a question which could have prompted an aggressive foreign policy response. He chose diplomacy. I know you all don't want to hear it and will find fault with his answer but the specific question was answered appropriately which included listing the nations that Karen quoted as a criticism and some of you jumped on.

Unless anyone thinks there is a convincing case that if he hadn’t been elected we would be at war with North Korea? And I expect he exaggerated a bit when saying Obama left the cupboards bare of weapons or bullets or whatever. Or just lied.

A fair assessment.
I would love to have been a fly on the wall when he talked to Kim Jong-un. I don't think for one minute there would have been a war but you just don't know.
