You must know his political rivals form a minority in the senate. Surely.

You must also know that he has stacked the judiciary with his supporters including two SCOTUS nominations, and has appointed an Attorney General that lies for him. Barr’s summary of the Mueller report is proof of that.
In case you missed it, the Mueller report listed some of his crimes in great detail and left it to congress to decide whether to prosecute, only because it was outside Mueller’s remit to make that recommendation.

I also know that there would have been no impeachment if the house of representatives was stacked the other way. I think that's called politics!

A fair assessment.
I would love to have been a fly on the wall when he talked to Kim Jong-un. I don't think for one minute there would have been a war but you just don't know.
