That press conference (or sketch show) was just to back up Trump's claims made in February that this will just go away so he can claim a victory over CNN. The dry-mouthed, sweaty, fast-talking lab spokesman was the best they could find? I didn't buy any of that charade, it was as clear as day what was being set up. When she saw him she must have known no-one serious from the labs would come out and talk so now she's caught wondering who will stand up in her place if she walks. I half expect Dr Melania and Professor Barron.

I turned it on last night just as he talking about disinfectant, sun-light and injections. I'd had 2 bottles of red so thought I was losing the plot. What is it with these impromptu Q&As with experts. Don't they have meeting beforehand to set out a strategy/message to make sure they stay on point? Obviuosly not, which I find unbelievable

Trump is dangerous and I have no time for him but to be fair to him he never said that the headline doesn't reflect what he said. Although what he was saying was stupid enough those conversations need to be off camera.
