Donald Trump

See, whether George Washington owned slaves or not, whether he was gay or not, whether he beat Martha or not, whether he was a Deist or a Mason or not, whether he was from Virginia or Massachusetts or Barnsley or Kilarrney Back is wholly irrelevant to the point at issue and you know it, gordon. We're judging one thing and one thing only, Washington's effectiveness as a war fighter and commanding officer, not his moral culpability for owning another human & exploiting their labour.

It's true that Americans do squirm in their seats when the issue of some of the Founding Fathers being slave owners is raised.

I live in Massachusetts, not South Carolina. It's not swept under the rug here, but neither is it fixated on. I think people are ashamed by it but really don't know how to process it. What are we saying really? A bunch of white guys had some great ideas and did some amazing things at the same time they did some inhuman things and held some abhorrent beliefs. Welcome to humanity?
It's not swept under the rug anywhere in the Country. And as I side note, I don't understand why anyone is ashamed about a human practice that was practiced everywhere in the world.

It will be like one set of humans in 200 years been ashamed of having been meat eaters in the 2000s. Makes no sense.

Slavery was a human practice. Thank God we've developed a sense of civility that opposes it in the West today.

That's fine. Then Obama is a fucking **** and a psychopath because he hired Homan and rewarded him. I don't recall, perhaps you do, did Obama voters and the media pile on Barrack Obama as a **** and a psychopath?

I don't know how it works in the U.K. but do you separate children from mothers or fathers who are abusive, or commit crimes, or cannot support them, or are judged to be unfit?
Weird.

Shall we tell him?

Hey @Username Required

No, why would we restrict a parent's rights and decisions in raising their child.

We, obviously, don't separate children from mothers or fathers who are abusive, or commit crimes, or cannot support them, or are judged to be unfit, because Magna Carta, 21st Verse-12th amendment-47th codicil.

Biden doesn't have much to do but vacation and chill. Perhaps he was late because some have been floating the idea that Biden should Resign and allow Kamala Harris to be the 47th president for a Month.

Maybe Trump was just giving Biden the time he needed to decide if he wants to resign.

Anyway Melania Trump declined to have tea with Dr Biden. Good on her.
If you want to know why my interest in having a drink with you is low, this post might explain it.
