Donavon to replace SWP

Not much, if anything to pick between SWP and Landon, and my personal loyalty is to SWP. Unless Landon started most games, which he wouldn't, I don't see him sparking an outpouring of US support. Didn't work for Everton, won't work for us. Getting to CL and beating teams is the way to build support in the USA.

How many Chinese fans do we have after Sun Jihai?

Nothing to do with it. Donavon works hard and knows his worth. SWP believes his dad, cant go past a player unless its the last 10 mins and he has just come on, and has NEVER been able to cross a ball.

I am American and the largest fan bases here are Chelsea and Man U. A little Barcelona but mainly those teams and it drives me mad, in particular the rags. A good pub in the town I lived in last and for the Derby there was myself and one other gentleman against about 100 rags, and fooking Paul Scholes scores. Different story for the Chelsea games however. One man talking in my ear the whole game talking how lucky we are getting. If lucky means winning, then call me lucky.

That said, Donovan would bring the US to City and so would wins. At this point I just want wins.

listening to 5 Live early hours of the morning while do my night shift and there was an ' american soccer expert' on there.he claims that we have bid $15m (£8.7m) for donovan and said the MLS will find it impossible to refuse!!!...not ITK but that,s what he said......
