I've absolutely nothing against concessionary pricing, but I have never understood why disabled people should get reduced prices. I work with disabled people, and they earn just the same as me, and are capable of earning more or less than me, so why should they get cheaper tickets than me or others?Pam said:But 33% hike for disabled fans? Close by parking spaces, wider seating and general assistance, yes. But concessions should be based on earnings, not ability.
This is not a dig at disabled people, but I genuinely do not understand the reasoning behind this in society.
