Nobody is expecting anything for free, they are expecting fairness and something within the average fans means.

jeeez fairness at 140 a junior 475 for an adult .how much fairer can you get.go to chelsea online and view there prices and come back and demand fairness

That is not the issue here, the issue is the raising of tickets by 33% of the disabled supporters. No wonder you think we are being unreasonable as you don't even have a handle on the actual debate.

at the end of the day did any of you expect a free ride, freeloaders on the back of a wealthy man, i think not, if you did why, why should you expect fuk all for fuk all, i'm not being harsh i do get tax credits as disabled people get disability but thats it no free rides, just because you maybe on the dole or a single mum or have one leg but what do you want do you want it free

If my ticket price doubles because the club decide to put in facilities that I don't want or haven't asked for it's not really asking for a free ride is it.

And if I get that choice between sitting back and accepting the increased cost, or moving to the next available seat wherever that may be, thats not really asking for a free ride either.

as ive said previous some fans are bloody deluded to the extreme if they did not expect a rise in ticket prices!

no its not you are correct 100% but you do have a choice and that is to move, cough up or move,if you stay where you are and consume the cost you would prob still be paying less than a chelsea season ticket holder for a sim part of the ground

I think folk need to take a look what it costs to watch premier league football at other clubs and then take a balanced view. It's like anything else in life. If you want a 1 star club go to Blackburn. I still think the aim of the club and its owners will be to give us 5 star football at less than it costs to watch any other top flight team in the premier. Stadium expansion, and varied offerings/prices within that stadium to cater for all tastes and budgets. How much fairer can it be? The fact is things are changing, and if someone said to me i can watch world class players at Manchester City but it would cost more, but not as much as other clubs how could i complain?. It's about choices, but you cant really expect the best seats in the theatre and want to pay stall prices. See what happens when the stadium gets bigger, that will give more flexability. I think it's fair to say the club do have the interests of the supporter at heart, but they also have to bring things in line a little. It is a business after all, and staff wages (not players alone) do have to be met. Lets have a bit of faith!!..

thats it i'm quite convinced people on here have had there face put out because the 100 pound adult season ticket hasn't been introduced, well they should get a grip and face reality, the top prices any of you are going to pay is 530 just go to the chelsea site then report back!

I might get lucky, the new facilities might be worthwhile enough for me to pay the extra (the kids can start going to the football when they get a job).

Or I might get relocated into an area that I like, where I can get a good view and I'm sitting next to decent people.

But I've sat in a number of different areas of the ground and where I sit now is where I want to be. I've been in my seat for two years, and will renew for a third. Whether or not I renew for a fourth will depend on the pricing, or where I'm told I will relocate to.

Yay club.

a 50 quid increase on a season ticket for disabled people is nor unreasonable,it can be made to sound unreasonable because of the disablement factor, but at the end of the day if there paying 350 with a 2nd person atending with them thats bloody good value

you could be looking at 900 plus there after next season, this is what i disagree with 'corporate' we can fill the ground without them

CB2

same as me but i dont know weather to stay another saeson as a lot of good seats be gone because of the relocation of the NS

id like to see the new facilities next season though but i think your looking at 1000 pound min for a season ticket and that will rise most if not every season

-- Fri Apr 23, 2010 11:31 pm --

therie doubling their money and more with the corps though

yeh your right but the sad thing is that 40% of the fans in these areas for big games prob wont be city fans, it will end up like wembley in that middle tier

it will indeed and you can include ot and the emerites aswell but unfortunetly thats the way football is going mufc etc etc didnt become what they are from selling 10pound tickets

harsh on us i know

the whole point of this level 2 issue is that we don't have the full facts
yes there will be better facillites but what will they be?
yes there will be a price increase but by how much?

how can you make a decision either way if you dont have the full story

the extra facillites might be worth paying for
the increase might be affordable

if we knew for sure we are having a bigger/new stadium then staying one more year or putting up with a increase for another year or so knowing you could relocate to another seat in a bigger/new stadium which would probably be within peoples budgets would be acceptable

but without the facts we don't know which way to go

c'mon city

city could end up with a scenario whereby the north/family stand is half empty (especially for mid week games) while fans excluded from there can't get tickets for other parts of the ground. even more so if the prawn butty munchers can't be arsed turning up for their corporate freebies on level 2 either.
