Millwall fans are largely working class and if challenged, outnumbered would fight to the bitter end be it grandad , grandson or nanna! Their place in society is written off as backward etc however if we were to go to a ground war with a genuine enemy as the Ukranians are right now they are the kind of people the ruling elite would turn to first to defend their riches.

Danny Dyer has made a fortune pretending to be such a geezer.

Unfortunately their record re racism in the 80s90s makes Tommy Robinson look like Mother Theresa!

Went to the FA Cup reply at the oyld den in 88 ?

All shapes,sizes,ages and genders out in the streets and stands acting like vigilantes....Arthur Mullard & Barbara Windsor look a likes everywhere.

True, had the pleasure of being with some Palace mates at a cup game at the new den . The Waaaaalll beat " the nigels" 3 nil a black lad Vervierre scored a hatrick yet they booed every black Palace lad mercilessly. Some of the pubs back then were white, millwall only. They are a little more diverse now and just hate everyone.
 
Football fans in insensitive behaviour shocker. It’s almost refreshing to hear that daft young men still behave like this in today’s over sanitised game.

Don’t remember the same condemnation when the dippers were doing the same to Eddie, never their fault is it

Another absurd part of this story is that in the FA’s fan misbehaviour guidelines, chanting “let him die” to a stricken, potentially seriously injured player is not deemed as serious as some generic mildly homophobic chanting which they are currently investigating.

Fucking clowns.
 
Let him die, let him die has been chanted from the terraces since Adam was knee high to a grasshopper. It clearly isn't a chant that people actually mean when it is sung

Yes it can be classified as tasteless but...... is it really? Some of the songs City fans have sung over the years could be classed as tasteless.

People need to chill their beans a bit.
 
Absolute fucking farce the Millwall keeper has had a 6 game ban for what was a complete accident. Where was Manes 6 game ban when he did the same thing to Ederson?! Sick of the double standards at every level if you play in red the rules are different it seems.

The dippers actually appealed to get his 3 match ban reduced.

I can remember back in the Futcher days singing kick him in the kidneys when a player went down, can't remember if it was with City or the odd game I'd go and watch Oldham with school mates tho.

There's a big difference from 'a bit of fun' to the dips for example giving Eddie grief after having oxygen and being stretchered off.
 
Seen Millwall a couple of times this season
Daughter’s bf is Millwall fan
First game of the season at The Den v Watford (bagged a new ground went to old one for famous one in 87) couldnt be arsed with the Comm shield, did consider both !

Totally different place, a couple of the lads we met were West Ham & spurs just wanting to watch a game as the premier league was a week later , generally sound, they get a few Dutch coming over still in ore of their reputation

Went away with them to Stoke too (couldn’t be arsed with Brighton after 4 days in Lisbon
Again loads of families young kids and a couple more northern accents I picked up on

Still the same old songs
A very controversial one about East London not being wonderful

Football was woeful
Makes u appreciate even this season how much better the premier is !
