Drove a campervan to a wedding in old E-Germany, a year or two ago, and t'was a great trip.

We did 6-8 hours driving per day, then hit the sauce.... although non-drivers were generally on it all day. I imagine you'll be travelling a tad faster in a Porsche.

Bah, I wish I could get onto this roadtrip.

What i need is our crest the size of a bin lid with a magnet back so i can stick it on my bonnet.The engine is in the rear in these car's so no melting issues. I'd feel a whole lot better that way. I'l be decking the rear window shelf out in blue and white anyways!

Hope to be in Munich asap at a steady cruise of 125 mph on das autobahn.....cant wait!
 
Me & the lads drove to TUrin in 1980, had a storming time. Proper laugh. Shame England were so shit.

I love road trips mate. Me and my pal did South of France, Italy, (skirted Turin) then through the french alps and back to Calais and homethis July. 2500 miles in a week on two wheels, camped all the way. Great days. If we played footy in the summer months i'd do all the trips that way, BMW GS 1000 (old un like me) and camp all the way. Cheap as ya like.
 
When KK came to gods own club we had a pre season friendly against Hamburg I drove there and back in 2 days from prestatyn we did 1540 miles in 2 days we got to Hamburg about 1 hour before kick off , found a hotel and went to the game lost 1-0 went back to the hotel after the game said we were going to have 1 hours sleep then hit the town woke up at 6.30 in the morning just in time for breakfast, then back in the car and home. great days treated like humans good food beer brought to you in your seat no need to leave your seat,you can sit any where you want ,and safe standing come on England catch up.

3 of us borrowed my mates birds car n drove to Hamburg for the keegan friendly the other year.Took 21 hours from Whitefield via Dover,Belgium,Eindhoven were we stopped for refreshments.The lad who drove us all the way just kept consuming large amounts of amphets to keep him awake and talked us to fucking death all the way.Gave a lift home to a blue who'd missed his coach home,he didn't even have a passport as it was on the coach,those guys at Calais didn't give a fuck about letting 4 lads with 3 passports on the ferry home.Top trip,drivings a great way of going if you have got the time,enjoy your trip mate,not sure bout the red motor though
