They could always borrow Arsenal's drum?
?source?
What about their beach towels? If they have to leave em outside it will be a right cluster fcuk! The Bayern fans will NOT be allowed to bring drums into the stadium for the CL game at the Etihad.
Bayern Munich & their supporter groups have been advised.
Chuckle ...Brilliant that. Nice one City!
Not only does it give our own atmosphere a helping hand, it stops those who hate it having to endure the incessant leathering of the drum all these kind of fans do.
Like we used to sing at Portsmouth, ‘can you sing without your drum?!’
Fat fingers pal - see my following post ;-)what?
Been to dortmund a few times and it's always without doubt one of the most thorough checks I've ever had, felt like I was at the airport. Fuckers wouldn't let me bring my phone charger in.if it was a free for all and we got respect off varies authorities when we go abroad, i would say bring your drums and flags, lets get 50k city fans to keep you quiet and our player will shut you up slipping the third goal in !
But what respect do we get when we travel to other stadiums, very little and most countries do anything to keep us quiet.
We are to soft with travelling fans, one game springs to mind a couple of years ago when the travelling fans in a UCL game where smoking and drinking beer in the seats, security did nothing.

Mr Wellens hopes there will be no drums at City for the home leg of the tie ;-)I can’t take an umbrella or a bag larger than A4 in but the away fans can take a drum or multiple drums and loads of big sticks?
No chance, get em banned from our ground!
St Helen’s Rugby League have banned all musical instruments from their ground so it can be done.
Absolutely brilliant suggestion- well done @EastMidlandsBlueThis first leg is a huge game for us, we need our singing sections singing in unison.
We need to give the lads a proper home advantage and scare the shit out of Bayern, because that's what they're gonna do to us when we go there.
So for the love of god, don't let them bring their drum in. We need every possible advantage we can give ourselves to take a big lead with us back to Germany.
Absolutely brilliant suggestion- well done @EastMidlandsBlue
This made a difference tonight, while their fans were still superb in the noise stakes, we had a chance and gave easily as good as we got.
To be fair their sign took us up a gearFair play to city for preventing this happening. With their drum they would have completely drowned us out tonoght. We were actually able to respond and be heard enough for a song to get going, we normally have to simply stay quiet and wait for a break to get anything going over the booming drum and 3k choir boys.
This has to be the norm from now on, we want every possible home advantage, a loud as fuck drum kills us, get them banned.
Somebody dropped a bollock however allowing their little signs in and the lack of security in their end when it kicked off after our second was another piss take, the amount of stuff that got launched that will go completely unpunished was pathetic but one step at a time well done city on this.
Gotta be honest, I missed it entirely first time and I sit right next to the barrier, only actually saw it later when they turned it to face thr south stand. it probably did help up the volume with the sheikh mansour my lord rendition but i think the game was turning at that point anyway and the crowd was reacting more to that.To be fair their sign took us up a gear
Cheers pal, they were actually a lot better than I thought they'd be without a drum so fair play to them.Absolutely brilliant suggestion- well done @EastMidlandsBlue
