Sacking Mancini would be a disaster. A new manager coming in and making wholesale changes would put us back 2 years. Mancini is possibly 1 player (De Rossi) away from perfection.

The current situation is born out of injuries and outside influences (Tevez, Kompany, Yaya, Richards...)

Well; De Niro is supposed to be toying with the idea of a diet, so he may be heavyweight enough to suggest something.
 
Maybe Mancini will call it quits himself as soon as the season has ended. Roma, Monaco, possibly AC Milan... a few very attractive options for him lurking down the horizon.

Yep, I think he'll quit.

Good point, well-made.

Trouble in the dressing room often comes from Tevez, who seems to have seasonal affective disorder and wants to retire every january. Trouble from Tevez often comes from Kia Joorabchian. Trouble from joorabchian often comes when his client Mark Hughes gets sacked and Joorabchian has had a bad winter transfer window.

Mancini has already broken Tevez's will though. It must be something else
