Don't look back in anger - Brighton Away

Great song but absolutely nothing to do with City. Ok to sing but not as a replacement for Blue moon which is synonymous with the club now and is now entwined in our history.

Some might say the song does have something to do with City.
It is associated with the Manchester bombing and City are in Manchester.
It was written a Noel G a big celebrity City fan and sung by his group, whose music is definitely associated with City.
Bluemoon once had nothing to do with City until a one or two guys started singing it many moons ago.
Take your point about Bluemoon being synonymous with City but surely there is room for another song for a newer generation.

Definitely and it would be a welcome addition to the songbook but not as a replacement for Blue Moon. Blue moon is special for me as it was a song of defiance during the 90s in a bygone era when City were not great and the camaraderie, togetherness, atmosphere made matches worth attending rather than the football.

It is important to keep in touch with the past of the club and with moving to a new stadium, a new club dna, different aspirations etc one of the few ways left is by maintaining traditions like Hey Jude, Blue moon etc
 
Alwals thought We're not really here was the better between that and blue moon through the wilderness years of the 90's
