Draw at lpool, A result that one would normally gladly accept taking away the form of both sides at the moment...

Frustrating stretch, dont want to look back in anger but a few things stick out to me thus far

1-all teams are up for us every match

2-no player is bringing out the best in others

3-Momentum, we lost it after Ade's suspension

4-"if i was the gaffer" I would bring in a world class defensive coach immediately, study the tapes do what ever needs to be done to steady this group ASAP

5-Transfer market. 3 years work in 3 months...well maybe there is a reason it is a 3 year job.

Anyway rant over, neighbour downstairs came up blurry eyed after we scored the second, c*nt came complained about the noise and just could not understand when I told her 3 times the game was on and I was sorry for the bother......oh well it was 9.30 on a sat morning, long distance love for City from Toronto, nice to have a saturday game for a change...ONWARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the tv coverage situation always amazes me, all but 1 City league game has been on here in Canada

I was going to suggest this myself, we have the players but again we were sank by a poor defensive show today. I can't think of any successful defensive coaches though. For that matter, I can't think of any defensive coaches. Who would be the candidates for the job and would it bring anything new to the party?

agree with everything bar your first point. to me it's more a case of us soaking up too much pressure and defending badly before we switch on. or in other words, we're the ones that aren't up for it, until we go behind.

I think we are trying to play the game many teams do - try and soak up the pressure, don't concede and maybe score on the break. Once we go behind we then have to throw everything forward.

Very true, however, I think if we want to be a top four side we need to be a commanding team, rather than a submissive one. I can understand away from home, but it doesn't take a genius to spot how well we played once we got into gear.
