we play villa though so if we win then thats them KO'd surely?

Not if they win the other 5. still means we have to win 2 more to be sure.

And you seriously think Villa can win five out of six matches?

What have you seen from them recently that suggests they can go on such a title winning run of form at this stage of the season?

not saying they will win 5 games, but it is possible. apart from us and everton the rest are very winable. everyones talking as if weve got 4th spot all sown up. still a few hard games ahead of us yet. just dont want to count my chickens yet. supported city for 40yrs so you can undertand why.
i am getting rather excited thou. where so close.

Anything is possible, but Villa winning five out of their last six is beyond unlikely, given their current form and level of performance.

O'Neill seems to be in some kind of meltdown.

If I was them I would be more worried about finishing 8th behind the blue dippers than I would be hoping for fourth. Then O'Neill is gone. Player exodus. Hughes in charge. Turmoil :-D

Can't discount Villa but they have a small squad and it's starting to show... I just can't see them winning all their remaining games...

Assuming Scousers loose to Chelsea they will be as good as out of contention

I can't see Spurs getting more than 6 points from Arsenal, Chelsea, United and City games
The ONLY thing we have to worry about is our own form - keep up the current form of 2 pts from a game and we are home and dry

72pts would see us walk home.

Said for ages now, and still maintain, 68pts will be enough to get 4th this year.

Can't see Villa getting it imho

-- Tue Apr 13, 2010 7:53 pm --

Oh...and just posting this to get my 100th post so i can finally start threads!

This time next week we could be 6th. Villa at home to Portsmouth tomoro
at home to hull wednesday, if we lose to arsenal we could be chasing villa and spuds.
