Give it a good squirt in the key hole,and in the gaps between the bar till it pisses out,squirt again,then have a brew ,come back to it and work the key gently.
bits of grit/dirt can get into locks, off keys.

its a bit of a running joke at work,i can fix anything with a can of WD40 and a screwdriver..
