over "unreasonable high ticket price raise to 19 euros"

And yet we get fans here criticising other fans who refuse to spend £45 for a cup game against United and £37.50 for a cup game against Liverpool.

Got to love the germans, a nation of people with balls who aren't afraid to sacrifice a little something for the greater good.

I remember them boycotting their derby away to Schalke last season due to something like this. That was a big, derby game too, can you imagine football fans here boycotting a game, let alone a derby?

It's the one thing the German fans have over the English. Solidarity when it comes to the wider issues (ie beyond single club issues)

The marched together to stop TV schedules taking over the game. They marched for safe standing and marched for cheaper prices.

Here, Mancs wont stand side by side with Scousers, Geordies wont stand with Mackems, Villa with Brum, Pompey with Saints and London clubs wont stand together etc etc.

Until fans put their parochial attitudes to one side and walk side by side together, the football authorities will continue to ignore fan based issues for their benefits.

Imagine 10,000 football fans from all over the country marching on the FA's office in Soho, or Parliament demanding safe standing? No fights, no drunken arrests, no windows smashed. Just peacefully marching together as one on one issue.
They do it in Germany.... so why not in England?

English fans need to realise this is the way forward. All english fans do is moan and complain about prices, while paying them.

let´s see, how many will follow the protest. HSV is well known for reducing the stands and turn them into seats in the away end. The Dortmund fans want to travel to Hamburg and gather outside the ground and listen to the radio coverage. Still it only works if those people don´t sell their tickets. You always find people who just wait to get tickets whatever they cost.

the banner says: No twenty euros for a stand ticket

Thats the difference, City fans planned to boycott Bolton away a few years back if i remember correctly. 1,500 turned up instead of the usual 4,500. That has no impact, its just like Birmingham rolling into town.

Everybody has their own agenda in England.

Stand up pissed up and have a laugh singing.
Occasionally join in with songs if somebody around you is starting it all.
Sit in silence and don't dare move. If somebody blocks your view at a Derby FA Cup 3rd round tie by standing during a corner scream at them to sit down.

Out of interest did anyone see the Ajax AZ game this week? Only women and kids aloud in the stadium. The stadium was half full, sounded like 20,000 vuvuzelas on helium.
