Was about to say this, our pitch hasn’t looked great for quite a while now. Looks like it’s been relayed and it’s digging up easy in warm ups

Then the numbers from that season have Fred even faster than that.. load of bollocks

im pretty certain phil jagielka was the fastest player in the prem one season, the stats are a bit deceiving, they clock how fast a player has run in a match not who is the fastest in reality(does that even make sense)

ie sterling is faster than phil but hasnt run faster in a match, haha im confusing myself now

Think it’s because we have the oldest turf in the league. No PL team has gone longer than us since last relaying the surface. But it’s getting done once the season finishes, so should be pristine next season.
