They just lost again to Hertha Berlin and are 3rd from bottom, but......... they took 15,000 to a league game, 300 miles away. We did this once or twice, but until we get standing back, its looks like German football is far better for supporters than here. Are they now the best supported team away, in the world? (based on other countries fans not travelling in numbers due to distances involved)

Just read about this myself. Absolutely staggering following. I think (IIRC) they get the highest average crowds for home games across the whole of Europe.

And, don't forget, the tickets were probably only a tenner, which is a big deal a few weeks before Christmas!

and soon the best supported team in Bundesliga 2

Doubt they will go down, they have too much quality. Gundogan, Hummels, Reus, Subotic, Kagawa, Immobile, Pizceck, Blakxksjzjsjhwzakzi. No way they will get relegated. Well not likely too anyway.

quite a few from the UK by all accounts, mad that it could be actually cheaper to follow a Bundesliga team

How tue fuck have they got to this state.

A more cynical man may think Klopp is making a point about the imbalance between bayern and the rest.
Something like..."the league is a joke so fuck it, ill have a bash at cl then im off after my contract expires"

they were still celebrating the team after the match. They still believe it´s unthinkable.
