We need someone in on loan for now, it makes perfect sense if we can't land a main target

We also need a player who can play instead of Rodri unless you want him ran into the ground again, but also with him.

I'd try and get Tonali in the summer.

A Rodri and Tonali midfield shits all over what we currently have centrally, but Tonali can play the 6 at a high level.

I like tonali alot, goes under the radar with Bruno by his side. Alot of geordies prefer him

Luiz on a loan makes sense for Juve and City. He's not in the Juve starting line-up and if Stones and Rodri are out for months, we have a short term risk. I don't think City will want a loan with an obligation to buy but a loan with an option to buy might work.

It's a no brainer Marvin. If we can get him on loan til the end of the season with no buy clause then it's a trillion % win win situation. He might not be that DM we're after, but what he does possess is a fantastic engine, speed to get up n down the pitch(something that we're so desperately lacking) and can tackle to boot. Quite a few on here seem to be against the move, but if its just a plain n simple loan, YES PLEASE!

I guess the Cambiaso deal only works if we also get Luiz. I’m not a fan of Luiz, but that lineup would dominate in the UCL. In the EPL, we throw in Khusanov for the pace, and we’re absolutely unstoppable. We are eating good with this!

yeah Cambiaso makes Luiz much more palatable for me.

I see zero sense in it for Juventus, without a sifnificant fee as an obligation. Which then doesn't mane AS much sense for City.

Don't think he's the best option but he's a good player on the ball & moving forward, with experience at DM. I would say that any decent midfielder with energy, who can tackle, will immediately help mitigate the failings of our current midfield - helping them to play better.

Would add a level of composure on the ball in the middle that we currently lack. Flourished under Emery and I've little doubt Guardiola and even better players around him could get even more.

Far from an expert on Juve and if anybody wants to correct me feel free but from what I gather he's had an injury and they've got a settled midfield that's been performing for them. Not really the case of it not working, just hasn't got started.

Injury and Locatelli has turned into Pirlo under Thiago Motta he is now one of the best midfielders in Serie A. So Luiz has struggled to displace him
