Douglas Sisenando Maicon

Micah Richards:
- young
- still improving
- home-grown
- loves the club

Douglas Maicon:
- old
- fucked us off once
- expensive

If as been reported in the media last week is a fact and Cooke and Marwood wont agree to Eto (too old) being part of a deal for Tevez then no chance this will be contemplated.

Bobby wants a replacement CF if Tevez goes as he already stated prior to Tevez saying he wants to leave that he wanted another CF.

The deal will be Tevez and Eto swapping clubs if Bobby gets his way.

Inter are ready to sacrifice Douglas Maicon in order to net Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.

The Argentine continues to be linked with the Nerazzurri and reports in Italy are suggesting that the Brazilian is key to the deal.

City want around €45m for the want-away striker, a fee that is just too steep for the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza outfit.

There have been suggestions of a possible swap deal with Samuel Eto’o, but Inter chief Massimo Moratti has blocked that possibility.

However, the Italian club are said to be willing to offer City the services of Maicon, valued at €20m, plus cash for Tevez.

The right-back, who has the admiration of Real Madrid, could be released following Inter’s capture of Santos full-back Jonathan earlier this summer.

He's signed you know?

If we get Eto'o or someone of his callibre then we'd have 4 world class strikers competing for 2 places, or 1 when we play top 7 clubs... We would play 3 maybe 5 times a season.

The bottom line is, none of them would be happy playing 1/3 to 1/2 of matches...

And that's if Tévez leaves...

Not for me. Would honestly rather have Micah at this moment in time.

Yup, and Douglas is a shit name. Do one dougie

Can Maicon play as a winger? and how would he handle sitting on the bench?

No thanks.

He's old, would demand high wages and we already have Richards and Zabaleta in his position.
