There is something strange going on here.

I've stopped for food in Yarm on the way to Boro and Sunderland aways, that's why it struck a bell. The question is....
Is there some kind of footballer extortion racket going on from the Yarm Massive?

Downing, 27, was taken into custody after an early-morning fracas outside the Cross Keys club and pub in Yarm, south of Middlesbrough. (This happened on Saturday)

Not sure about that but I remember speaking to a customer of ours years ago who is a 'Boro fan and a lot of their players lived in Yarm including the likes of Juninho and the rest of their Brazilian contingent.
