This is to Shady, I'm having a few problems with MKV's running at an increased speed. Almost as if in a x1 fast forward, the sound is also increased to about the same rate.
I've tried disabling h.264 looping in VLC and I've also installed media player classic along with the K-lite codec pack and having the same problems on both.
It was stuttering as well as running at an increased rate, now I've resolved the stuttering but the speed is still a problem.

Preferences > Show all > Input/Codecs > Demuxers > Matroska > tick Preload Directory.
