Open the file with any media player as it seems to missing its file extension whether it be .avi .mpg ....

it may be the name of the file


right click on file and then click rename

now call it something like palace v city carling cup.avi

it will say something about making the file unstable, just click yes/ok

then try to play it again

Use VLC player and drag the file in. PLays fine.

cheers tried that but now WMP says it cant play the file and may not have the codec. etc. standard error message. anything else i can do? cheers mate
