If it's the batteries again they are really doomed with this one, a lot of airlines demanding a lot of compo from Boeing because of the problems and it's only going to get worst. Thomson are flying one today from Manchester to Orlando and it's currently returning home after well over 3 hours into flight, no reason why so far....

Wouldnt get me on a Dreamliner, no friggin way

Wouldn't blame anyone for saying that, it's been plagued with these problems before and they needed to make sure it was fixed properly or confidence just gets shot to bits and now if it turns out this was the batteries again it'll not fly again for a very long time.

This aircraft is fecked! Their solution to the battery problem was to put it in afireproof case. Ridiculous!

Re: Another dreamliner on fire, Heathrow shut

Don't worry Boeing with fix it by putting another case around it.....

Airbus must be pissing themselves.

In all fairness to Boeing no one has been able to replicate the battery fires in a controlled environment.

Also the fireproof casing was only one part of the redesign
