Fair enough I agree with Walton he's a twat who doesn't know how to ref the game. He has been consistently incompetent.

But if a refs view is obstructed we can't expect to get it right all of the time

It should have been a penalty, yes! But Jason Donavon was in the way of Walton, and even if he wasn't it would be difficult for the ref to see if he won the ball or got the man as it was on the other side of their bodies to where Walton was. Video ref would have cleared it up in ten seconds though!

I shouted for a penalty from the stands but its moving like a little jolt every 10seconds on this PC and look ok

it dont look ok . it look the ball stay there and kun can no more play the ball becouse he's fouled , so its a stonewall penalty.

Despite the defender getting a touch, the ball is always within playing distance for Aguero, so bringing him down after that makes it a foul and a pen IMO.

Realllllly hard to tell, it looks like he might make contact with Aguero right before he trips on the ball. Being a ref, from Waltons angle and in real time, I think I would have to give the penalty. It's closer than I thought it was though, thought it was stonewall at the time but it's a bit closer from that angle. Like I said though, from Waltons angle, you have to give the pen.

Clear red card as I thought at the time. Just another to add to the list of this season's joke decisions (actually you can go back to the ADUG takeover).

anyone got a clip of the Aguero foul in the area that should have been a pen? Cant find it on any highlights

was a great tackle, won the ball cleanly before making contact with aguero - no pen

Came through the back of Aguero to get to the ball and pushed Aguero's foot on to the ball. Fellaini never actually touches the ball. From the angle Walton saw the incident he would have seen Fellaini tackling Aguero from behind and should have given a pen.

Yes we were gash on the night and deserved nothing out of the game, but its incidents like this that get you something you might not deserve and ultimately wins you prizes.
