Now I know that's very boring and will not get you a good deal for births and marriages with OK and Hello magazines but it will give you the best chance to be the best you can be. It's a winner's attitude. There are probably some fans on here who if they had behaved differenly as teenagers could have made it in sport but instead are stuck doing jobs they dislike but hey they can get tanked at the weekend. Others have made it in sport but perhaps not achieved as much as they could have done ( City fans Ricky Hatton and Freddie Flintoff come to mind ). My belief is that a winning attitude is essential and that means making any sacrifice that is necessary. We got beat last Sunday the players should have been thinking how to put that right not partying.
If you want to be the best you can be in any career you don't harm your body (booze & fags) and you get regular sleep (and I bet there ain't too many critics who follow that righteous lifestyle), and you lead a boring lifestyle. Unfortunately it is that, boring.
I refuse to believe that just because you don't drink or smoke, means you have a boring lifestyle. Utter bollocks.
