Driving test in Failsworth

I've got my driving test on wednesday at failsworth test centre, absolutely shitting it! Anyone had their test there and can offer me any advice ie is it hard, easy etc?

I'm mainly bricking it about reversing round a corner and reverse parallel park, so if anyone has any tips about not cocking those up then that'd be great...

I had passed my test last week. Practice well with your driving instructor before taking the test. Refresh yourself on parallel parking, backing up straight. Take your driving Test at a place and time that suits you, I suggest you you to take mock test which gives you the real feel of the day of the actual practical driving test.

As a driving instructor i use failsworth test center quite alot .most of the examiners are very good & understanding ,the reason people fail on reverse parking is not carrieing correct observations .your instructor would not have put you in for your test if you were not good enough just try relax & show him/her how good you are

Took mine there years ago and it was easy. The bloke who taught me had said that when you turn up they tell you to park your car towards the main road.
we parked up facing the other way so there was only one test route that he could take me.

How you drive is only a small part of it. If the tester likes you they will let you away with more than if they dont like you.

Talk to them, ask about their day all the crap so they like you a bit more they'll let you away with more for example I talked all the way through my test, I got away with going 5mph over the speed limit, cutting a corner and stopping with the front of the car in a yellow box. Those are all things I could have failed for but didnt :)

Took mine 25yrs ago and passed first time. Still remember what my instructor banged on about. Drive on the defensive side and check your mirrors every five seconds. And make sure your examiner can see you doing it. Even set your rearview mirror off centre, so you have to make exaggerated head movements. Good luck!
