I've been confident for weeks and now the nerves are just racking up, anything I can do to settle my nerves, ensure I get a decent nights sleep? any tips are greatly welcomed. Any help at all is appreciated!

Take a copious amount of amphetamine about a hour before and remember to offer the examiner some too.Good luck.

don't put to much pressure on yourself,if you pass great, but it's not the end of the world if you fail.
Remember you can retake your test continually untill you pass.

If you turn up at the test thinking ''what if I make a mistake?'' there is nothing more certain than the fact that you will make a mistake. Approach the test with confidence (but not over-confidence) and try to forget that the bloke sitting next to you is an examiner. Easier said than done, I know. But it worked for me all those years ago. My biggest problem was avoiding the stray dinosaurs on the road! And don't get panicky if you do make a mistake; it may not be crucial. I stalled the car when turning right off a main road onto a side road but restarted it immediately, carried on with the test and was stunned when I was told that I passed. The only thing the examiner mentioned was that I should check my mirrors slightly more often (no mention of the stall!). Good luck.

Eat plenty of bananas and just as your instructor pulls up to pick you up for the test take a paracetamol

I passed first time and was nervous as fuck

Remember what the Instructor has taught you .dont do anything different just because the examiner is sat where the instructor normaly sits .think .plan & anticipate well ahead . dont forget your blind spots whan moving on .most of all try & enjoy it & show him how good you are .Your instructor would not have put you in for it unless he was confident that you could pass .Good Luck .ps what test center is it ?

Oh, and a wee tip i was given when i went for my test, when you get in the car, move the seat back and forwards until you have a comfortable position (even if it is in the right position, still move it), then fix the mirrors so that you have to just move your head to check them, you might just keep glancing at them, but if the instrutor does not see this he might not realise that you are checking them often enough).
& Dont go into it either still drunk, or hungover.
