Driving to the match this week

Hope someone can give me some advice here...

I've never driven to a match before & thinking of doing it this Wednesday.. Living in South Manchester (M14, round the Ram & Shackle area), so just asking, whether it's a better idea to still take the bus to the match or does it work out better to go by car?

If so, then where's the best area/lot for me to park with my home in mind?

Also, 5th of May is my birthday, so it's in the stars! Got to be a good result. CTID

If you're worried about driving up, just have a little tipple beforehand to ease your nerves and get a bit of 'dutch courage' in you, then drive at a fast speed so you don't miss the match.

Public transport or get a lift. Dont drive. Wednesday we will be celebrating

Yeha guys sorry to jump on the back of this but im also having to drive on wed in order to get there from work on time, but i will be coming across from leeds any advice on where to park, dont mind a walk to the ground but also know theres a lot of residents only parking.
