Unlucky, but it was inevitable really.
 
Didn't Dave Pace say he would throw himself off a bridge if they got thrown out of the cup.

Anyone know which bridge it is and if you can buy a ticket ?

Had nothing against Droylsden but Pace has acted like a complete idiot all the way thorugh the re-arranged ties, accidental goal etc.
 
Droylsden have very good ground for appeal on the basis that this has happenened before, and in all instances the team in question has received a warning befroe being removed form the competition.

Bury for example were removed from the FA cup for fielding an illegible players 3 years ago, this was a second offence tho, two years earlier the same had happend and they were given a warning.

Precedent has been set and i imagine that if they take it to the courts then they will win. The FA are very good at fucking things like this up.
 
No chance of winning.

It was plain cheating as the player was banned.

Altrincham lost 18 points for not getteing international clearance for an English player they signed from an English team. If the most spurious piece of paperwork can land you in relegation trouble then straight forward rule breaking indefensible.
 
I go watching the bloods when city dont have a game and i agree that pace is a t***. He`s a dodgy c*** who doesnt give a fuck about the fans.
