I would try and avoid using the Taxi if you can as soon as you get into the car its over €4 before you go anywere the biggest rip off. €5 odd a pint is the norm in Dublin City Centre pubs but watch during the night they put up the price of the pint in some pubs and clubs aswell. Thats why most people have a few drinks before they go out rip of bastards.

Try to find accomdation in Bray, a beautiful place by the sea and you can take the DART into Dublin and back!

Cassidy's, on O'Connell Street. Nice little place, limited parking behind it too. They have quite easily the comfiest beds I have ever stayed in ever, ever, ever, ever. Little bar in it too. It's about a 4 minute walk from the Liffey.
