I don't think a sweeping ban would be fair, maybe appoint WUM tribunal to decide an fair punishment. For example thoose who have been just passing on info aren't half as annoying as the knobhead who say things like "Two words; Kaka, 3:00".

Yeh. Some of the attention seeking threads annoy me. If I see a thread about a player that I have info about, I just post in there. I have only made one thread with info, and that was because I was too tired to bother finding threads to put the snippets in.

If I get everything wrong I'll happily donate a fine to charity though.

I doubt anyone will be banned, just known as a bit of a WUM in future, when it's all over the Wums will be classified in to groups,
