Oi, get fucked, two of my best mates live there, and I've just remembered I got married at Duky Town Hall. You're probably right!!

My pal lives facing the town hall, according to the Gangs of Manchester book - 2,368 drug related phone calls were made from the phone box outside in a 12 month period. I always wondered why it was never vandalised.

The slaughterhouse is in Ashton

I've just checked on Google Earth, and the original slaughterhouse on the Ashton side of the river Tame is connected by a closed in bridge to the massive factory (processing plant?) on the other side of the river. So it straddles two counties.

What the last few posts have to do with the original topic, apart from the similarity in the surname of the police officer concerned and the town in thr People's Republic of Tameside is open to conjecture, but this IS Bluemoon.
