Dunblane 30 years on

That was horrible an ex girlfriend had kids at the school when it happened. The stories are tragic.

Just watched this now. Fucking heartbreaking. The dad at the end who said his only regret now, all these years later, is he can’t remember his little girls voice.

The guy who has lost his wife and it was just him and his little girl after, then she gets killed in the massacre. How the hell do you carry on after that?

Crazy looking back at this happening in such a small community. Apparently Hamilton was being looked into after complaints about his inappropriate behaviour towards young boys and had been blacklisted by the scouts. His business was failing too due to these allegations he velieved. It probably all contributed to tip him over the edge and carry out the shooting.

Only after watching that last night did I find out that it could have been off the scale. Apparently he got his timing wrong and was supposed to have gone into the assembly hall when it was full of 300+ kids, hence his 700+ rounds of ammo. It’s unthinkable what he did as it is, but if he’d have got his timing right well it’s not even worth thinking about what he could have done in a much larger scale.
