Duncan Castles Called it 100% Correct

Castles is obviously well connected in Abu Dhabi, and has called a lot of things correctly. He said we wouldn't be signing Sneijder when Gazzetta dello Sport caused a lot of excitement with their front page 'exclusive' that he was about to join City.

Writing for a paper (The National) who is owned in a private capacity by Sheikh Mansour himself ought to give him an edge when it comes to City..

Tottenham ask price for Adam Johnson as Villas-Boas prepares to invest income from Luka Modric sale.
Andre Villas-Boas is set to be granted the resources to strengthen Tottenham Hotspur's squad with the sale of Luka Modric to Real Madrid this week.
The Spanish champions believe they have finally negotiated a compromise on the Croatia international's transfer fee, expecting him to arrive in time for their second

I think that's probably spot on, he agreed in principle to come.

RVP would have come to City if Tevez or Dzeko had left & we were willing to pay £24 mil imo. We didn't do either, so he went to the rags.

A week before the window ended. This guy is well worth paying attention to when it comes to City stories. I'd say his info is coming from people connected with ADUG.

This is the same guy who said Sergio was off to Real Madrid, seems to have gone quiet on that front!

He may or may not have been right with van Persie, but he called Podolski right.

But he could of had an agreement with us only for us to refuse to pay 25m. Had 1 of Dzeko or Tevez gone I believe he would of been a city player but that didn't happen.

Duncan Castle got mates in the Mourinho camp, so I bet he was correct about the Aguero bit..

Look, there´s a HUGE difference between agreeing with a player or a club and getting him.
It´s also a fact that all clubs are sounding out other clubs about players constantly.
