All this getting at Dunne is becoming ridiculous, he was one of our better players today. The reason we lost was because we weren't creating anything going forward. We've a long way to go but surely we all knew that.
Fucked up for the Tevez goal, outstanding otherwise.
Harsh really, if a defender makes one mistake, i.e. poor position, it can cost a goal and the game. If a striker makes a mistake, i.e. a misplaced shot/pass it can sometimes be overlooked.

And just to prove the red sh*te dont have a monopoly on half wits, our few show up slagging off our best player by a long way today, big Phil and Nedum had good games...........the rest victims of numpties tactic
Dunne covered .......The right back slot because numpty thinks its some kind of plan to play Richards too far up the pitch.
Dunne covered........The left side a few times because again Bridge was caught out of possition far too many times.
Dunne covered ......His own position, every tackle was well timed and clean, got to everything in the air and never looked in trouble,
He was far and away our best player, herman munster head had free runs into the same gap for ninty mins, did our illustrious manager bother telling anyone to pick him up on those runs?, it cant be Dunnies job to play the c*nts on his own, and while he made 90% of the tackles coming out, its common sense the ugly red tw*t is going to win some times.........so where was the covering runner?.
Apart from blind hope it was never on the cards for us to get anything, two holding midfield players gave us lots of the ball........and then slowed everything down, no real pace going forwards, no power in our play, and Hughes sat on his usless ar*e changing nothing

As others have said Dunne was decent 2nd half, what they failed to add though was he was decent when he had fuck all to do because the game had already been lost in the 1st half because a) he turned like the QE2 when the ball travelled 70 yards over his head and b) he decided that Tevez wasnt worthy of a tackle!
I hate to say this but if you want to see how a top class centre half performs then take a look at Vidic, Dunne is not in the same fucking league!
As vbr pointed out Dunne has been dog shit all season and a decent 2nd half against a team playing in 1st gear does not constitute him being the least of our worries!
