Dunne deal!

I can't believe how everyone is slagging Dunne off! Have we forgotten already how he's been the backbone of the team for the last few seasons - player of the year how many times and now he's getting all this grief! I agree he isn't having the best season but come on guys!!
 
i think we shud play him as a striker cos if he can put the ball in his own net why not put him closer to the other teams

True supporters want the players to be loyal to the club.Certain element not exactly loyal to a frequent winner of the player of the year aeard,

True supporters? Screw you. I've been a blue longer than Dunne's been alive. Who the fuck do you think you are? True supporters put the best interests of the club before any player, or any group of fans whose misjudgement and egos are wrapped up with a player they've bigged up from the off.
 
He's a had a real nightmare of a season, and what he did today is just unexcusable. What makes it worse is we know how well he can and has played in the past. Unless he wants to leave I would definitely hang on, we've got the likes of Ben Haim to get rid of first.
 
I wonder who are the 2% who have voted for Dunne on the official site's Man of the Match poll. He must have a rather large extended family.
 
Noone can live on past glories... Dunne we all know what he can do and what he has done but this season he just hasnt performed at all... that is NOT good enough for our CAPTAIN... he alone has cost us plenty of points with his poor performances... 2 red cards is NOT good for a captain especially since both of them have been unnecessary... his head hasnt been in the game this season and it shows on the pitch...

I just wish he could get back to past glories but he is not performing so far...
 
i fookin love richard dunne n support every single player who puts on the sky blue shirt.while dunne is still wearing that shirt we should all be 100% behind the lad.those dickheads that boo him should be ashamed of themselves.ok he is having abit of a bad time of it n he does need to improve but booing citys captain is not good.some of the pricks who where sat near me need to think why they go to watch city.they are not supporters.i'm ashamed of all you people who booed our captain!

dunne is without doubt one of the best centre halfs in the premier league,part of the problem has been he is poor when he is played on the left side of the centre backs,when distin was at city,he played on the left and dunne in his natural postion on the right,the man has won player of the season 4 times in a row

agreed. but got to admit he's past his sell by date and he's cost us dear this season. time to go Dunney. thanks for all you've done (except all the own goals- not just this seasons either)

be very sad to see dunne go.i think he's got a couple of seasons left at city.think he needs a regular partner,someone he can rely on.love to see him next to john terry.don't think it will ever happen but it would be nice.
