Richards is far better than Dunne its not even debatable who you would keep

really city fans educate yourselves he has so much potential WAKE UP

He has been inconsistent this season but we have come to expect him to be the rock that he has been the past few seasons.
said it three months ago. been a good servent to the club but he has now past his best times and needs to step down....very poor again today.IrishMacca said:Has loyalty really come to mean so little in football?
He hasn't had a great season fine, it happens to 90% of players, especially defenders. If they make mistakes they are noticed, if a forward makes a mistake when he should have scored a goal it goes down as just a miss.
Dunne has given City years of fine service, has been Player of the Year for City for years, one after the other, the stand out player. The captain, our captain.
And he has one bad season and we're willing to what exactly ship him out? One bad season and that's it, because why, we've money now and no need for patience.
He's shown us loyalty for years, is it not our turn to show him some? Do we not owe him that at least for everything he's done for us.

He is Mr Man City through and through. We're not going to be able to buy a truck load of top class defenders, Dunne has years of experience and we could need that in the future. His form is shite at the moment, but form is temporary class is permanent, or however the saying goes.
He's served us so well for years, the least we could do is let him stay another and see how he goes. Nearly everyone has a bad season in them, even most of the top class players.
Just give him time, this season is gone. Let him fight for it.

No, we owe him fuck all, the guy earns £50K per week but is no better at centre half than my dead gran would be! He deserves all the abuse he is getting because he is fucking shit.
Its embarrassing that you have a young lad in Ned showing our experienced captain how to defend week in week out.
If Dunne has anything about him he will take a pay cut and fuck off elsewhere in the Summer and play at a level that suits him eg Sunday League!

So loyalty means nothing in this "business," this circus anymore?

Why should loyalty play a part?
Dunne gets paid to do a job, same as I do and most others do, if I do a shit job I face getting the sack. Why should a footballer be able to put in a shit performance week after week but say 'Hey dont have a go at me, I had a good game against Liverpool 2 years ago, show some fucking loyalty'?
Ive said it before but if you want to see how a top class centre back performs you would go and watch Vidic or Terry, nobody would go to watch Captain fucking Calamity!
