Dunne - Probably the worst defender in the league

idiot Dunce, Wayne Bodge and Titus Bungle are scrapping it out for the worst spot.

micah richards is 20 years old how can you say he is the worst defender at the club for me he has been awful this season but still better than dunne.

dunne out

same way you say dunne is the worst in the league

Richards is far better than Dunne its not even debatable who you would keep

i'd get rid of both

He can't control the ball
He can't pass (short or long)
He can't mark
He is often out of position
He makes needless challenges over and over again
He is useless as a captain
He is an own goal specialist
He is wank as a threat upfront
He gives away penalties

Yes he has had some great games for us but for someone who plays trains nearly 6 times a week he is fucking wank and this at a time in his career when as a defender he should be at his peak. He is simply not developing at all as a player or appear to be learning from his mistakes.

He is a last ditch tackle merchant and that is the only thing he can do. He was a player of the season simply because there was fuck all happening in the middle and attack - all we did was to defend most of the time with the main objective being not to conceed.

How the fuck amongst so many talented young footballers did he get through to this level? You could go to your local 5-a-side place and pick a decent player now, get him into preseason with the squad and I guarantee that that lad will do as well as Dunne if not better next year.

I really don't think that anyone in our team feels confident with Dunne playing behind them. We can buy Torres, Villa, Kaka And Ribery but while we have Dunne and richards in defense we will win fuck all.

A bit harsh I think.

He has been inconsistent this season but we have come to expect him to be the rock that he has been the past few seasons.

Incorrect, he has been very consistent.......DOG SHIT EVERY WEEK!!

For 18 months Dunne has been fucking awful and yet he continues to recieve support on here. The guy is a fucking joke of a player and an even worse captain. £50K per week? I wouldnt give him £50 a season, he is fucking wank!

Dunne the new boo boy now. Fuck me some people Dunne has had a poor season but you can say that for all our back 4. Look at Fulham they defend as a team something City dont do no wonder thay will get into Europa Cup. Dunne will still be playing next year for City and will be better than what he has been. All this season the defence has been our weakness but we wont get worldclass defenders in as they wont want to come to the club. If the team defends as a team we will overall be better next season than what we have been.

Has loyalty really come to mean so little in football?
He hasn't had a great season fine, it happens to 90% of players, especially defenders. If they make mistakes they are noticed, if a forward makes a mistake when he should have scored a goal it goes down as just a miss.
Dunne has given City years of fine service, has been Player of the Year for City for years, one after the other, the stand out player. The captain, our captain.

And he has one bad season and we're willing to what exactly ship him out? One bad season and that's it, because why, we've money now and no need for patience.

He's shown us loyalty for years, is it not our turn to show him some? Do we not owe him that at least for everything he's done for us.
He is Mr Man City through and through. We're not going to be able to buy a truck load of top class defenders, Dunne has years of experience and we could need that in the future. His form is shite at the moment, but form is temporary class is permanent, or however the saying goes.

He's served us so well for years, the least we could do is let him stay another and see how he goes. Nearly everyone has a bad season in them, even most of the top class players.
Just give him time, this season is gone. Let him fight for it.

No, we owe him fuck all, the guy earns £50K per week but is no better at centre half than my dead gran would be! He deserves all the abuse he is getting because he is fucking shit.

Its embarrassing that you have a young lad in Ned showing our experienced captain how to defend week in week out.

If Dunne has anything about him he will take a pay cut and fuck off elsewhere in the Summer and play at a level that suits him eg Sunday League!

Funniest thing I have read for years, to use the word class when discussing Richard Dunne is fucking hilarious!

Why should loyalty play a part?

Dunne gets paid to do a job, same as I do and most others do, if I do a shit job I face getting the sack. Why should a footballer be able to put in a shit performance week after week but say 'Hey dont have a go at me, I had a good game against Liverpool 2 years ago, show some fucking loyalty'?

Ive said it before but if you want to see how a top class centre back performs you would go and watch Vidic or Terry, nobody would go to watch Captain fucking Calamity!

Yeah lets pat old Dunce on the back..."You keep putting those dog shit performances in, Richard, you've cost us many games this year, but since you've been here so long even though you're fucking turd here's a 5 year contract extension and a wage boost."

Get real you tit, his time has come to move on. Thanks for all the service, Dunne, but it's time he went.
