was looking through the Villa forum to see what reception Gareth Barry will get and come accross a rather unpleasent picture of Dunney (below link 4 post down) oh dear

Reading that thread has confirmed just how bitter and fickle football fans can be. The majority seem rational, but by gum there's some pretty blinkered views on there. I'm sure others think the same about this forum too. We're still better than everyone else though.

This is exactly what I thought. Some are pretty pissed off with Barry. I'd have an ounce more understanding if we'd still be gash, but we are quite clearly contenders for top spots as it stands. He hasn't moved for money. He's moved because he knows that we could be playing CL soon, which is why he left. He didn't go to Liverpool because he believes we'll be challenging them or even surpassing them in the not so distant future. It's really not hard to wrap your head around, is it?

That picture isn't criticism of Dunne. When a thread is posted on there and it's already been posted before everyone used to say 'Been done' , then someone posted a thread on there that had 'Been done' (bin dunne) and someone posted a picture of Richard Dunne in a bin rather than actually saying 'been done', this started when he still played for you.
