I just don't think he trusts milner full stop - he was bought in essence to be the water carrier but has the touch of bobby buche, Milner on song would dispel the 2 holding midfielders myth because he isn't the stereotypical holding player, problem is our team has evolved, a decent touch is essential and not sure milner has it - nasri on the other hand?

I'm all for de jong and barry in the big games but i think we're past that stage where we need it at home against mid/bottom table teams.

Thought Barry was our best player in the first half to be fair and i'm happy to see both play if the full-backs get forward regular as they were last night.
 
Lol yeah he gave that chelsea fan both barrels, good point aboout the not caring who it was if it was Barca playing also.
Since it was city though...

It's not HIS mind he's changing though. As opposed to Keys and Grey (the only show on TalkSport worth listening to) Durham and Gough just talk utter shit for three hours five times a week. I don't think either of them believe in, or een have that much actual knowledge of, what they talk about; they just pick a subject and Durham takes one extreme of the argument while Gough picks the other extreme to disagree. They do it to cause a stir and et people to phone/text/email in to raise money for the station.

to be fair to durham, he is genuinely sticking up for us ( forget the barca comparison)
 
Talkshite will say anything to get the listeners or peops to ring in, simple sales tactic, create controversy and the lambs will follow. TBH weve had a few on here as well :)
 
anybody else think swansea played ok first half and they got a great keeper
they will beat alot of teams when they find there feet


but we was on another level to them
