I think Arsenal are being taken for a ride and Vlahovic just does not want to play for them. All of Arsenals difficulties have come from the agent apparently. 15 million is what he wants from Italian reports.

This. For a player like Vlahovic, its a huge risk to join a club like Arsenal/Spurs/similar club in PL. Not a CL regular, not a title challenger in the foreseeable future, and joining them will make it very unlikely he could join one of the biggest clubs in the world during the next 5 years since no matter how good he performs they will most likely just refuse to sell (like Spurs with Kane this summer).Its why Arsenal are having difficulties, they can pay Fiorentina’s price but the agents not budging with the agent fee he wants. Vlahovic knows he has a decent chance of joining one of the big boys that misses out on Haaland if he waits to the summer. For him to give up that opportunity up there must be a HUGE offer on the table, otherwise I cant really see why he would be in any rush to move right now.

This is the most likely answer, italian based player prefer to stay and move within seria A if possible.

Sounds a bit of a guess that one, but it wouldn't really be surprising at all if it were true.
Supposedly didn't want spurs or arsenal due to lack of champions league, will that be an issue for Juventus. It will get unpleasant for him if talk of an agreement for June gets out so it may be best for all to push for a January move and Fiorentina get some cash. Or juve do their classic and get a 1.5 year loan and and IOU.
His agent has consistently said they have a deal from last summer that still apppies, so may well be it, and may be one of the reasons we seem tonhave gone nowhere near it this window, whill reportedly having made a late offer last summer.

A few more Italian based clains that Juventus are pushing it in January now rather than waiting for June as they had planned. Most claiming all is agreed with club and player, just the clubs to agree payment now. Supposedly.

Yeah looks like he is heading to Juventus now if we are to believe the reports. Still think he would prefer us, but if there is no offer on the table from us its an easy decision for him really. The fact that there is basically no noice about us being interested at all anymore points to us having other targets in mind that we prefer and think are achievable (Håland/Kane), and if neither of them turns out to be possible we are securing Alvarez as an alternative.Ok fair enough.

It may be true that Vlahovic ends up at Juventus, but it should be warned that most of these sources pushing “he wants Juventus” and “it’s his dream since as a kid” are just more examples of the Italian sports media doing what they always do. They play their big team up just like you see with the Spanish media with Haaland (it’s also “his dream”, “his only option”, “a deal has already been agreed” etc), and the overreaction here, with both players, is that many posters buy this crap at face value. I’m very skeptical
