Dutch Documentary About Man City (English)

That was awesome and thank you so much OP.
I'm lucky to understand Dutch and it really was a touching tribute to city.
When he took a taxi to Maine Road and spoke to the local people, I was in tears (again).
But what made it perfect was when the lovely old bird in the hairdressers said that we have "the fight" in us and it doesn't matter whether it's a for a few years or 44 years.
She epitomises City fans and Like Ian Cheeseman said, I hope we always remember our roots.
Just wonderful!!!

What a magical 45 minutes of TV that was. They even managed to include some footage of Lakey down dog-shit alley, which brought a lump to my throat.

David Gill likes to pontificate about the 'romance' of his football club, but the reality is that City's narrative has far more romance about it than anything they can conjure up. This will be of enormous benefit to our club from a marketing point of view as we endeavour to overtake united in the years ahead. I hope the club realises this and acts upon it. A documentary like that in the USA would further raise the profile of our club in that growing and lucrative market.

It's sometimes all too easy to forget what a journey we've been on. Programs such as that serve as a reminder what a remarkable story we've all been part of.

One of the best City documentaries I've seen, much better than Blue Moon Rising I think. It really explores our club and its fans and what being a City supporter means. "Five stars!". I wonder had the wealth come earlier or if we left Maine Road later what the club would have done with Maine Road after we relocated as I doubt we would have let it go.

I often wonder this. I'm not too sure we would have even got our wealth had we still been there, but if we did, would we have stayed and expanded, or built another and moved? Maine Road could have probably been adjusted to hold more fans. There were talks of expanding all the other stands in the style of the new Kippax before we decided to move. I think, judging by the whole Etihad Campus and Academy etc, it is quite clear that we would have built a new ground and moved.

Shame we sold the land on Maine Road. If we had just kept the land even when we moved to COMS. Imagine our owners deciding to build a new stadium there today and totally rebuilding platt lane and buying some of the platt lane fields. Maine Road Campus

Images of Maine Road in this doc makes the hairs stand up on my neck. Superb
