DVI-D?

I just bought a couple of DVI-D dual link adapters and connected both to a vga cablehttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DVI-D-Mal...ion_Video_Cables_Adapters&hash=item2c64ac6562. This produced no signal to the monitor while connected to the
graphics card http://www.amd.com/us/products/desk...d-6770/Pages/amd-radeon-hd-6770-overview.aspx Can anyone shed some light as to what i am doing wrong. My current connection is DVI-I(Graphics card) to D-SUB (Monitor)

I take it you've done all the basics like un-plugging all your fans then re-bootin?

No mate why would I have to do that?
