Dynamo Kiev - Post Match Thread

Job done and on to the next game, some people on here are never happy, not the greatest performance but we are the only English club through, would you rather we copped for another difficult group to get through then moan your fucking Arse off when we get knocked out.some fans have very short memories and make me fucking sick the whinging bastards, I've followed city since 1965 and seen some proper shite players, grab the moment and enjoy cos it won't last.

A really boring game .
All I was bothered about was that Sergio didn't get injured for Sunday .
On to Sunday and derby day .

Tell us we're miseries and then tell us it won't last ;-(

Just watched it again and we actually played it well. We put in minimal effort and just played thenopponen, who frankly were shit. considering the game we have Sunday I thought we managed the game and energy superbly.

Shitty about kompany.

"We put in minimal effort" - was that a deliberate tactic? Or is that what the team have been doing for the majority of the season? Discuss......

Different ways to look at it. Yes job done but given our recent struggles and the strong attacking team we threw at them, I can't be anything but disappointed. In fact I was somewhat annoyed at the celebrations by Hart at the final whistle. If that performance was something to celebrate then I must be missing something and making the quarter finals as far as I'm concerned isn't that big a f*cking deal.

Thankfully Sergio looked absolutely disgusted at the end and so he should have with the lack of service he received.

If 0-0 was the plan then don't field such a strong line up. I wasn't surprised that he started with Kompany, Silva and Aguero but I thought we were going to try to win at home, which with the lack of momentum we have, seemed logical. But what they dished up, at a significant cost to our top 4 chances, was nothing short of woeful.

I took my 5yr old tonight, his first game. Before half time with people heading for refreshments/toilets he asked where everyone was going. I told him for their pints of lager. He replied "Do they need cheering up because it's not good"? The bloke next to us laughed and said he won't want to come again after this....told his mum it was the best night ever when he got home.

Can we complete a hattrick of nil nils on Sunday? And will Joe be celebrating that?
