Dynamo Kiev - Post Match Thread

So when a team is leading 3-1 from the first leg, we lose both our centrehalves withing 25 minutes, one of them being probably our biggest infulencual player, of course we should attack and try to win the game. While I never seem to read anything else rather than Pellegrini shouldn't be naieve in Europe. The man simply can't do it right can he. Obviously to blame for both injuries as well.

First thing I said when Kompany went out was for Pellegrini to let the team settle over this setback, no risky fancy stuff but back to basics. They did up until the next setback and after that. Kiev hardly had a say and we gaine deven more control in the 2nd half. If only the final pass was more accurate we would have beaten them. But I was fine with this performance on the night and under the circumstances. I take the 0-0 because it got us in the next round. After 25 minutes that was all that mattered.

We had been waiting on Pep and he wasnt going to come for another year so blaming Begiristain after getting arguably the best manger there is for next season is rather laughable.

What will be laughable is Pep managing in the Europe League next season.

I can't believe there's so much praise for the performance after last night. It was not good game management. Good game management would have been playing the £42,000,000 centre half, £50,000,000 winger and the striker who scored a hattrick on his last start. We saw a 0-0 affair with Silva and Kun playing 90' and Vinny hobbling off crocked, all before arguably our biggest game left of the season.

Once again, very baffling calls from Pellegrini. Mancini had a league title awarded after the match fixing scandal in Italy, he should have another awarded as Manuel won the league first time round with his team.

He didn't pick a team that Peps right hand man (Pablo) agreed with
That would make around 50,000 right hand men that Pep has got to deal with then because there wasn't many I spoke to who thought it was the correct team. You stick to having your hands covering your eyes and putting your fingers in your ears whilst taking your happy pills.

you are not factoring in the fact kiev are not complete bums, they beat porto 2-0 at their place, we were not to know they wouldn't go for it on the night, not sure what he could of done apart from resting kompany

The amount of money spent on absurdly average players, such as Mangala and Otamendi, meaning we rely on very few players who as a result are becoming increasingly injury prone.

The fact that his 'holistic' style of management was supposed to yield youth team graduates but the only one to have played any regular part is a Nigerian lad signed when he was 17.

The backing of a manager so clearly out of his depth it is embarrassing he is in stewardship of a top club. It was clear to all and sundry this time last year that he was finished, and his leadership of the club could have set us back years.

I thing the only thing embarrassing, is your post.

Try supporting your club, the direction it is heading in and the long term vision. I'm sure you would be a better person for it. But if you prefer to whine at every opportunity, each to their own.

We are talking about Mangala a £42,000,000 centre half, Sterling - the £50,000,000 winger and arguably one of our best players in Europe this season, and Iheanacho, the player who scored a hattrick on his last start. It's not a case of League 2 cast offs - these are able footballers.
