I think (personally), your optimism lacks some objectivity so when some fans are (rightly in my opinion totally fucked off with the prospect of missing out on top four) and you counter like a six month old cocker spaniel chasing a tennis ball, it may well grate.

It's the first time I've seen us be that conservative and from what I saw there were clearly instructions to protect the football match and just get fucking through. I don't believe that type of call would have been Manuels.

This is now a serious competition for us. The league is done and fucking dusted for me.

With a bit of luck we avoid PSG/Barca/Munich and Madrid until the semis. If we get a decent draw next time and make the semi, well I'm fucking daydreaming here but stranger things have happened.
