actually camolli and kenny evaluated carroll like this : 12 mil for the quality of player and 23 mil for his british passport (kenny's buy british campaign :P)

they must have done similar calculations for downing and henderson ..
our agents glazers,camolli and wenger are doing their jobs perfectly to help us win title.

The problem is that being Number 9 in Newcastle makes you the most famous person in that City. It draws considerable pressure and attention. He was inevitably being hassled on nights out (being 6 foot 5 and having a pony tail didn't help) which led to getting in trouble. Gerrard and Dalglish are the idols in Liverpool. Carroll is just another man in the team.
